eLearning As You Please

For years organizations have known that eLearning was the best way to train a disperse learning population and keep costs down.  With the explosion of mobile devices, there are now even more ways for learners to access online training.  Thankfully the days of scheduling time to sit at a desk to take an online class and exam are dwindling.
 
Don’t get me wrong, there will always be a place for formal online training.  However, the trend is clearly moving towards mobile, social and informal learning.   Consider that, for the first time in human history, a single technology is set to outnumber the total humans alive on the planet!   

 

 

 

It’s not surprising that sales of smartphones and tablets have overcome PC’s.  People also access the Internet via a mobile device more than they do on a PC.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Are You Prepared?

The elephant sitting in your living room wants to know, “Is your training department prepared for these trends?” Your answer to this question may very well determine the long term viability of your organization, especially if you want to attract and retain the best talent. Possible answers are:
A) We are there!  
B) Who knows? Our LMS provider tells us it’s “on the way.”
C) We don’t have an LMS, yet.
