In this demo, Matt will show you many of the key updates to Accord LMS 5.0. Highlights include new and improved reports and delivery options, a learner calendar view, improved charts and inactivating learners via the bulk import.

Working late into the night, behind closed firewalls, the Accord makeover artists have been busy creating a new experience for our site visitors.

Incorporating customer feedback, Google site traffic patterns and the latest in responsive design we now offer both desktop and mobile users a web resource that is intuitive to navigate and provides quick access to the information most sought after.

Accord LMS has integrated the OpenSesame training course catalog. From within the LMS an Administrator can select from thousands of OpenSesame Courses, specify the number of seats and the new Courses will be automatically added onto your existing Accord catalog.

In this demo, Matt will demonstrate the new Learner Calendar and Report updates. Now Learners will be able to see upcoming Session and Enrollment Start/Due dates in a calendar view. LMS Admin have access to useful new Learner Activity Summary report there are some general report enhancements as well.

A potential security issue exists in the Install Wizard functionality of the DNN portal framework. Accord support has already addressed the issue for all hosted SaaS clients. Self Hosted clients should read further to better understand the problem and their options.

The Accord LMS is constantly evolving. Based on customer requests and technology trends, Accord releases a great new set of LMS features, performance updates and UI enhancements every few months. 

The upcoming Accord LMS 4.03 release will provide an improved Learner user interface that is even easier to navigate for both PC and mobile users. Features include: theme enhancements; an updated home page; and a more intuitive Course and Learning Element presentation.

User experience design is one of the most important disciplines in software development. The practice involves constant improvement based on user behavior and emergence of new tools and techniques.

A new library of Accord LMS video tutorials has been created.  Some of the videos provide basic feature overviews while others drill down into more advanced feature configuration. New content will be added to the library on a regular basis.

Clients who are hosting the Accord LMS on their own servers need to be aware of the server requirements to support DotNetNuke 7.  Hosted SaaS clients do not need to be concerned as the Accord servers are maintained for you and are already up to par.
